Thing a Day: Day 4

Today I spent some time with the fonts I downloaded a while ago. My computer is too old and tired to support any of my graphic design programs anymore so I had to uninstall them (sigh). So I played around on Microsoft Word, Adobe and Microsoft Photo Editor, woot! I wish I still have InDesign so I could design an appropriate logo and play around some more. But I guess life without the help of graphics forces me to do things by hand. I like it that way.

Anywho, I had a few fonts in mind for the Cross Town Rival blog. I like it but it needs to be spiced up. You can check out my post below...

I've also uploaded the four files I uploaded to the blog here. Tell me what you think! It's a start to helping Bobby spice up his site.

What else do you think would help?

What would help spice up my site?

And finally, what do you think of these:

I really like the first one, with the arrows.
The not-quite-vertical letters have a nice tension to them and the arrows pointing down really accentuate the word "rival" ... like, "it's goin down right here!" kinda.
hahaha... hope that helped :-)

I like the second font. You did a good job on it!

I like them all. Your artistic skills are inspiring, much like my performance in Die Hard.
