Anheuser-Busch Rejects Bid

Maybe it's because I'm tired. Maybe it's because I love beer. Maybe it's because I've grown up around the corner from one of their main attractions so Anheuser- Busch has been in my vocabulary since I was a child. And maybe it's because I don't think people should mess with a good thing (and Anheuser-Busch is doing more than a good thing when you look at it from a business perspective). But, I am SO HAPPY they rejected the bid from InBev to buy them out. I'm a blogger so it's not my job to report breaking news, but I just had to share this.

Sure the economy sucks and Auggie Busch could have made a pretty penny ($46 billion to be exact) but I appreciate that he's sticking with their business plan and trying to get through tough times without, literally, selling out. Plus, what would have happened to all the Clydesdale's?

Whatever happened to Blatz beer I wonder. That was always my fave in college.
