Christmas Cheer!

Merry Christmas everyone! What was your most memorable, thoughtful gift?

This year, mine is a notebook from my oldest sister. 

She works for a non-profit that serves people with developmental disabilities. She bought packages of covered notebooks and pencils for everyone in our family. The amazing thing is that these notebooks and pencils were covered by the people she works on behalf of - these people chose to use all of the money they raised by selling these items to buy two angels from their Christmas tree. The angels are for other people that work with them and for some, the items they get from the angel tree are the only Christmas gifts they received. It warmed my heart that instead of selling these items to buy Christmas gifts for friends, family or themselves, they chose to raise more money to help their coworkers (anonymously).

My notebook is autographed- and I will use it as my next journal. That is what the Christmas spirit is all about.

I wish you all many blessings as we celebrate love with our friends and family and remember the day that Jesus, our Savior, became Man.

It's the most wonderful time of the year... for giveaways.

I'm done with my Christmas shopping folks. That's right. COMPLETELY FINISHED! I purchased 90% of my awesome gifts online. I just need to wrap them (and pick two up when I go home from the holidays- they're gift cards so I couldn't exactly pre-order).
