Please come to Knoxville for the Springtime...

I'm leaving for Knoxville, TN in 12 hours. I thought this week would go by quickly but I think my sheer excitement and unbridled giddiness of visiting Knox to visit my sis, bro-in-law, giant nephew (Great Dane) and temperamental niece (cat) made it drag. Does anyone else notice that when a holiday is coming up, the week feels longer?

Have a wonderful time! I love it when you blog about your family. I didn't have a father growing up, and your stories are like a glimpse into another world. I really enjoy them :)

Thanks! I've noticed that I usually have more to say about my family than about PR or pop culture lately. I'll keep posting stories :) Have a great long weekend!

Yes! And because work gets slower. People are less likely to actually do things which makes the days drag. BUT the weekend is now here! yay! Hope the trip goes well!

My week was long because I had to do a whole lot of work before I could escape to the OBX...

The week before may seem longer, but at least the next week is sure to be shorter. Always a nice bonus.
