How did you get there? From Rosslyn, you can just hop on the 38B and transfer to a 30 bus in Gtown, or you can get off at FBottom and take the 31 that drops you off right in front of the restaurant!

I am actually going to my first meeting tomorrow after work. I'm excited about it. I tried it once with my step mom but didn't follow it I was like 14 at the time and really didn't need to lose weight.

I am a self proclaimed foodie so I'm hoping I'll still be able to eat some of the things I enjoy just in moderation.

Yeah, so I'm sort of doing South Beach. Skipping over phase I, just eating less carbs, and when I do, more whole wheat. Pretty sure I've gained a pound. I would love to see a 5 pound difference. Regardless if it's from a weight flucuation or not, it still gives you that edge to keep going! Good for you!

You go girl! I did it in high school and it worked... i really think a lot of people have success with this program overall. My dad is back on it (he also did it with me when I was in high school) and he is doing great so far! I've got my butt goin to the gym three times a week and watching what i'm eating too!

it lists out all of the point values for food at different restaurants! Even though I'm not doing the program now, its still a good reference to see what is good and what is bad!

I love coupons.. just hate clipping them! But love saving $$$ There are lots of sites. Groupon is awesome if you live in their towns and want what they offer. Also, I like to use Coupon Mole to find coupon codes, deals and savings.

Good luck!! I know lots of people who have done WW and swear by it. It's really good if you need a routine and accountability. I often think about joining but I hate counting calories! :)

I tried Weight Watchers several years ago. I would go weigh in every week. Eventually the $15/week I was paying was just too much. I thought now that I know how the process works I could do it on my own. Didn't work. I think it's worth paying the money to go weigh in each week and be accountable for what you've eaten and how you've worked out.
I've heard so many success stories. I hope it works well for you, too!

My husband always asks me if I actually know any of the people that follow me on Twitter. Of course the answer is no, and sometimes I think that's wrong.
